Combined Keyblade (Kingdom Hearts) (3D Model).

Another of my personal proyects. This time, another 3D model of a Kingdom Hearts weapon.

The last 3D Keyblade model I made (I love modeling Keyblades, I admit it) wasn´t that complex, considering that the model was very rectangular because it wanted to represent the pixels of its respective game (Kingdom Hearts: Recoded.). And knowing that I wanted to model that weapon because of the affection I have for both the game and the weapon itself, I wanted to repeat the occasion, and model another keyblade that I also like very much: Combined Keyblade.

This Keyblade, as his name says, it´s a combination of two keyblades, operated by Sora and Riku, protagonists of the game where this weapon appears: Dream Drop Distance. Of all the models I have made, this has been by far the most complex. Not so much for the detail, but for the shape itself, needing more modeling and care than usual.

The crystals that are in the upper area were simple, and also look very good aesthetically. The wings in the lower area were also relatively complicated because of those details I'm talking about. In fact, I feel that they are “incomplete”, even though the main base is correct.

I love how the final result turned out. It´s a shame that, like the Zero/One Keyblade, it doesn´t have that much popularity or attention in the franchise. But for me, these are the best ones.
